This item is made from leather treated with plant-based tannins, most commonly from bark and leaves, instead of non sustainable chromium sulphates. Bear in mind that this raw and sustainable material is more sensitive to scratches and that no items are identical.

Canova is an edgy everyday loafer with a platform sole. The leather is vegetable tanned so it can be rather stiff in the beginning, but it will soften after a few strolls. Make sure to properly put on the shoes with a shoehorn to prolong the lifespan and maintain the shape of the product.
